Customer Director (AI Safety)

What you will do

• Lead strategic accounts across frontier AI labs, hyperscalers, and government entities.
• Design transformation programmes incorporating AI evaluation methodologies, auditing frameworks, and technical standards.
• Translate complex AI safety, governance, and technical concepts into actionable strategies and programmes for senior client leaders.
• Oversee multidisciplinary delivery teams of engineers, researchers, and delivery leads on high-stakes projects.
• Develop commercial strategies and proposals to expand work across safety-critical domains.
• Share thought leadership on AI safety frameworks, emerging risk evaluation, and industry standards.

Requirements

• Deep expertise in AI safety, auditing, ethics, or evaluation methodologies.
• Experience gained in government, research labs, or technology-focused environments.
• Technical credibility and a track record of translating complex AI and data concepts into clear strategies.
• Proven ability to build trusted relationships with senior stakeholders and lead strategic commercial conversations.
• Collaborative leadership skills for coordinating multidisciplinary technical and delivery teams.
• Entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to solve ambiguous, high-stakes challenges.
