Senior Legal Counsel (Energy): Advising Siemens Energy’s Grid Technologies business on international contracts, tenders, project delivery, and energy transmission and grid digitalization across Asia Pacific with an accent on contract law, negotiations, compliance, and legal risk management. Focus on leading strategic negotiations, managing claims and disputes, standardizing and digitalizing contracts, and supporting complex energy-sector transactions.

What you will do

  • Advise hirify.global’s Grid Technologies business on commercial, trade, and contract law matters across Asia Pacific and international operations.
  • Review tenders, contracts, and related documents, and participate in contract negotiations and negotiation strategy.
  • Assess legal risks, verify compliance with internal guidelines and external regulations, and support project execution.
  • Manage claims and engage external law firms in dispute resolution proceedings.
  • Contribute to contract standardization, digitalization, and process improvements within the global legal community.
  • Develop and deliver legal training for key stakeholders.

Requirements

  • Several years of professional experience in the legal department of an international company or law firm, preferably involving international projects.
  • Proven experience managing legal risks in complex transactions.
  • Deep knowledge of contract law and international contract practice.
  • Ability to lead strategic contracts and negotiations while managing multiple demands.
  • Excellent verbal and written English and Bahasa Indonesia.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in an international environment.
