Senior Business Systems Architect (AI)

Location: Hybrid, with presence in the San Francisco or San Jose office 4 days per week; work from home day is Tuesday.

Salary: $206K–$275K annual base salary.

What you will do

• Develop and execute scalable enterprise systems roadmaps aligned with business goals.
• Architect and deploy workflows, configurations, and modules across NetSuite, Coupa, Stripe, and Chargebee.
• Evaluate, select, and standardize business systems, integrations, and operational tools.
• Manage Workato, Mulesoft, and other iPaaS integrations to improve interoperability and automate data flows.
• Drive SOX compliance through internal controls, system audits, governance, and continuous optimization.
• Troubleshoot complex issues, mentor team members, and deliver reporting and dashboards for decision-making.

Requirements

• 10+ years of experience in business systems architecture or administration, including hands-on enterprise systems implementation.
• Strong knowledge of finance technology stacks, including NetSuite, Coupa, supply chain, asset management, and billing systems.
• Proficiency in JavaScript, SQL, HTML, CSS, and Python.
• Experience with Workato, n8n, Mulesoft, Alteryx, or similar middleware and low/no-code platforms.
• Knowledge of ITGCs and SOX compliance, with proven experience deploying process automation.
• Hands-on experience using AI and machine learning tools, including OpenAI, Anthropic, LangChain, or similar platforms, to build intelligent automation solutions.

Nice to have

• Relevant platform certifications, such as NetSuite Administrator or iPaaS certifications.
• Experience with SuiteScript, Salesforce Flow, or equivalent system customization tools.
• Experience building internal AI applications on AWS.
