Pharmacy Dispenser - Salford Extra

Location: Salford, United Kingdom; onsite in a Tesco store pharmacy. Contracted shifts are scheduled within the stated availability windows, with a minimum guarantee of 16 hours per week; roles from 12 hours are also available.

Salary: £13.70 per hour, rising to £14.97 per hour in stores within the M25. Some locations may offer additional payments.

What you will do

• Support the daily operation of a modern Tesco Pharmacy within a collaborative store team.
• Accurately dispense prescription medicines and complete prescription administration on time.
• Provide friendly advice on medicines, common ailments, over-the-counter products, and pharmacy services.
• Handle customer queries within your competence and refer complex matters to the pharmacist.
• Maintain cleanliness, organisation, and compliance with pharmacy Standard Operating Procedures.
• Support promotional activities and wider company initiatives.

Requirements

• Experience or qualifications gained in a pharmacy environment.
• Interest in training and developing a career in pharmacy.
• Strong attention to detail and the ability to make responsible decisions when supporting customers.
• Ability to build rapport, communicate clearly, and deliver confident customer service.
• Positive, team-focused approach with effective collaboration across the store.
