Intermediate 2D Animator (On-Site)

What you will do

• Create high-quality 2D character animation that meets production standards.
• Animate complex character interactions, acting sequences, dynamic movement, and other technically demanding shots.
• Maintain the show’s style, character consistency, and scene continuity across sequences.
• Apply creative direction and series-wide animation notes while achieving shot approvals efficiently.
• Identify and communicate issues in assets, rigs, or animation workflows to Leads and Supervisors.
• Collaborate with Animators, Leads, Supervisors, and other departments to solve problems, meet deadlines, and improve workflow efficiency.

Requirements

• Proven experience in 2D character animation, preferably in an animation studio or episodic production environment.
• Strong knowledge of timing, spacing, posing, acting, and character performance.
• Proficiency in Toon Boom Harmony or other industry-standard 2D animation software.
• Understanding of 2D animation pipelines and production workflows.
• Strong organizational, communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work efficiently and independently, maintain clean files, incorporate feedback, and meet production deadlines.
