Senior Fullstack Engineer (TikTok)

Location: Helsinki, Finland; hybrid work from the Helsinki office 3 days per week. Remote work abroad is available for up to 30 days annually.

What you will do

• Own TikTok product capabilities end-to-end, from customer-facing experiences to backend services and APIs.
• Build user experiences for creating, managing, automating, and optimizing advertising campaigns.
• Design and operate distributed, data-intensive systems and event-driven services at scale.
• Build and evolve integrations connecting Smartly with TikTok and the wider platform.
• Drive technical and architectural decisions and shape long-term technical direction.
• Collaborate with product, design, and engineering teams while mentoring other engineers.

Requirements

• Strong experience building and operating production-grade fullstack applications.
• Experience with TypeScript, Node.js, and React or similar technologies.
• Experience taking product capabilities from customer-facing experiences through backend services and APIs.
• Experience designing distributed systems and asynchronous, event-driven architectures at scale.
• Ability to build reliable systems and integrations handling high data volumes and to drive complex problems from concept to production.
• Ability and willingness to work in a hybrid setup from the Helsinki office 3 days per week.
