Software Product Security Engineer

Salary: $123,100–$150,400 annually, with additional bonus and/or equity opportunities for US candidates.

What you will do

• Develop, test, integrate, and maintain desktop, web, and cloud-based applications and security solutions.
• Support Windows desktop applications and services, including troubleshooting and maintenance.
• Build and maintain web applications, RESTful APIs, and cloud-connected services.
• Write clean, maintainable, documented code and create unit tests for software reliability.
• Participate in code reviews, Agile ceremonies, sprint planning, and cross-functional delivery activities.
• Support cloud deployment, monitoring, product releases, and ongoing maintenance while applying secure coding principles.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, software engineering, or a related discipline.
• 0–2 years of software development experience, including relevant internship, academic project, or co-op experience.
• Basic knowledge of one or more of C/C++, C#, .NET/.NET Core, WPF, XAML, ASP.NET Core, JavaScript, or TypeScript.
• Understanding of object-oriented programming, software development lifecycle practices, unit testing, and Agile methodologies.
• Basic understanding of Windows security fundamentals, multithreading, sockets, inter-process communication, RESTful APIs, and full-stack web technologies.
• Basic knowledge of cloud platforms such as Microsoft Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud Platform, including containers, CI/CD, identity and access management, and cloud security.

Nice to have

• Exposure to secure coding, software security, authentication, authorization, and encryption fundamentals.
• Coursework, project, or internship experience with React, Python, Go, Rust, Django, or related technologies.
