Senior Networking Engineer (AI) (Cisco, Python, enterprise networking): Validating AI-assisted troubleshooting workflows and building expert-verified datasets for enterprise networking incidents with an accent on Cisco routing, switching, wireless, security, and observability. Focus on analyzing root causes, assessing remediation recommendations, creating annotated diagnostic data, and improving model evaluation through RESTful APIs, Python, and networking expertise.
Location: Ukraine or Romania; remote or office work

What you will do
- Review network incidents, diagnostic outputs, and operational datasets to validate root cause analysis and remediation recommendations.
- Evaluate and improve AI-assisted troubleshooting workflows across enterprise networking environments.
- Collaborate with data scientists, AI researchers, engineers, and project managers on model training, evaluation, and continuous improvement.
- Create realistic networking scenarios and expert-verified training examples covering routing, switching, wireless LAN, VPN, security, and observability platforms.
- Author annotated datasets with troubleshooting guidance, remediation procedures, risk analysis, and operational impact assessments.
- Use RESTful APIs, Python, and GenAI or agentic coding tools to collect, transform, analyze, and document diagnostic data.
Requirements
- 5+ years of hands-on enterprise networking experience with strong Cisco routing, switching, and wireless expertise.
- Advanced knowledge of OSPF, BGP, VXLAN, 802.1X, Cisco ISE, and enterprise LAN/WLAN environments.
- Expert proficiency with Cisco CLI troubleshooting, diagnostic, show, and debug commands.
- Practical Splunk experience, including SPL, data onboarding, add-on development, or comparable observability platforms.
- Experience with RESTful APIs, network automation, Python scripting, technical documentation, and root cause analysis in production environments.
- Upper-Intermediate English proficiency and strong communication, collaboration, and analytical problem-solving skills.
Nice to have
- Familiarity with Cisco Catalyst Center, Meraki, ThousandEyes, Nexus Dashboard, ACI, or similar SaaS-managed networking platforms.
- Experience with escalation or on-call support.
