TL;DR
Software Engineer - InfoSec (C#/.NET): Building and optimizing WellSky software solutions across the full development lifecycle with an accent on code quality, performance, scalability, and secure information-handling practices. Focus on developing RESTful APIs, resolving production issues, integrating AI coding tools, and validating reliability through automated, integration, load, and performance testing.
Location: Overland Park, Kansas, United States; onsite. Applicants for this U.S.-based position must be legally authorized to work in the United States.

What you will do
- Develop and maintain solution features and components using a focus on code quality, performance, and scalability.
- Collaborate with solution managers, designers, and other teams to gather requirements, propose solutions, and deliver business-aligned features.
- Identify and resolve technical issues in production and development environments.
- Optimize system performance and scalability through troubleshooting and continuous improvements.
- Prepare technical documentation and participate in code reviews.
- Build unit tests and participate in integration, load, performance, and other automated testing.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent work experience.
- 2–4 years of experience with C#/.NET, ASP.NET Core, and RESTful Web API design.
- Experience with Claude Code or a similar AI coding tool.
- Experience with Docker and containerization.
- Legal authorization to work in the United States is required.
- Ability to work additional or irregular hours when needed and follow security policies protecting company and client information.
Nice to have
- Okta SDK, IAM, MFA, OAuth 2.0, and OpenID Connect.
- Angular, REST API integration, and third-party API integration.
- PostgreSQL, Google Cloud, Azure DevOps, CI/CD pipelines, and Terraform.
- NUnit, unit testing, and Playwright automated testing.
- Healthcare IT, interoperability, compliance, and audit logging experience.
