TL;DR
Communication Manager (Tech Communication): Managing PR, external and internal communications, and community-building initiatives for a global technology community with an accent on media relations, employer branding, industry events, and stakeholder collaboration. Focus on strengthening the visibility of technology leaders and ambassadors, executing cross-regional sponsorships and partnerships, and connecting tech colleagues through internal initiatives.
Location: Riga, Latvia; hybrid work is possible, with the office as the primary workplace.
Salary: €2,900–€3,600 gross per month, depending on qualifications.

What you will do
- Develop and implement PR and external communication activities, including media relations, blog articles, expert content, and other communication initiatives.
- Strengthen the visibility and positioning of the If Tech Community, technology leaders, and ambassadors on technology, leadership, and workplace topics.
- Plan and execute external presence at industry events and tech communities, including conferences and speaker activities.
- Support social media communication and manage sponsorship and partnership projects across the Baltics and Nordics.
- Plan and execute internal Tech Community initiatives, events, and engagement activities across If offices globally.
- Support leadership communication across the global Tech organization through forums, conferences, and other initiatives.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of experience in communications, PR, media relations, or a similar field.
- Higher education degree.
- Excellent writing and editing skills in English and Latvian are required.
- Strong communication, project management, and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to take ownership.
- Confidence working with tech specialists, community members, senior leaders, journalists, and external partners.

- Experience with IT or technology-related communication projects.
