Senior Platform Engineer

Location: Based in, or open to relocating to, the UAE

What you will do

• Build and maintain scalable, reliable platform infrastructure supporting high-performance applications
• Develop and automate infrastructure as code and workflows for consistency
• Create self-service tools to empower engineering teams in deployment, monitoring, and troubleshooting
• Establish security best practices across infrastructure and applications
• Collaborate with engineering teams to identify and solve productivity pain points

Requirements

• Location: Must be based in or willing to relocate to the UAE
• 5+ years experience in Platform Engineering, DevOps, or SRE
• Expertise with cloud services and infrastructure-as-code tools (Terraform, CloudFormation, Pulumi)
• Proficiency with containerization (Docker, Kubernetes) and microservices architecture
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and monitoring systems (GitHub Actions, Jenkins, Prometheus, Grafana, DataDog)
• Familiarity with on-call and incident response practices
• Use of AI tools to boost productivity

Nice to have

• Experience building impactful fintech platforms
• Proven leadership in scaling engineering teams and platform evolution
• Active participation in tech community through open source, speaking, or writing
