Senior Support Engineer - ADAS

Location: Shanghai, China; hybrid with two days per week in the office and three days flexible between office and home

What you will do

• Integrate hirify.global navigation and ADAS products into customer applications, vehicles, and existing system architectures.
• Co-develop solutions with customer engineers by prototyping, measuring, and iterating on performance and vehicle-specific requirements.
• Provide second-line product support by reproducing issues, diagnosing problems, implementing fixes where possible, and escalating clear technical cases to the product organization.
• Translate customer feedback into reproducible bugs, evidence-based requirements, and roadmap input for product and engineering teams in Europe.
• Work directly at customer sites, in laboratories, and in vehicles when required.

Requirements

• Strong software engineering and systems-debugging experience.
• C++ or Kotlin is essential.
• Deep expertise in at least two areas: embedded development, Android applications, Android framework or AOSP, connected and cloud services, or automotive platforms.
• Fluent Chinese and English, spoken and written, required.
• Ability to write concise, clear, and logically structured issue reports and design notes.
• Technical credibility, patience, empathy, delivery accountability, and disciplined use of team processes and governance.

Nice to have

• Automotive experience with QNX, Automotive SPICE, functional safety, Android, or an OEM release cycle.
• Navigation or ADAS knowledge, including routing, positioning, map data formats, or autonomous driving.
• Performance profiling and optimization on constrained hardware.
• Experience as a forward-deployed, solutions, customer, or integration engineer.
