Head of Order Management (m/f/d) Medium Power Transformers

Location: Linz, Upper Austria, Austria

Minimum salary: €84,028.28 gross per year for a full-time position, plus an All-In agreement with variable compensation.

What you will do

• Lead, develop, and inspire the Order Management organization.
• Manage the factory’s customer order portfolio in an Engineering-to-Order environment from order intake through delivery.
• Coordinate with Commercial Project Management, engineering, manufacturing, procurement, sales, customers, and senior management.
• Monitor project performance, risks, opportunities, profitability, quality, schedule, cost, and customer satisfaction.
• Drive organizational and process transformation, digitalization initiatives, and continuous improvement.
• Establish project management standards, governance, milestones, and quality gates aligned with global business requirements.

Requirements

• Master’s degree in industrial engineering, electrical engineering, mechanical engineering, business administration, supply chain management, or a comparable field.
• Extensive leadership experience in project management, order management, or a comparable function within complex manufacturing or Engineering-to-Order environments.
• Proven experience leading organizational change, process transformation, continuous improvement, and digitalization initiatives.
• Strong expertise in project, risk, contract, and stakeholder management, with excellent communication, moderation, and decision-making skills.
• Fluent German and English are required.
• Experience working successfully in an international and intercultural business environment.
