Lead UI Designer

What you will do

• Own the vision, governance, roadmap, and evolution of the global hirify.global Design System.
• Design and maintain reusable UI components, layouts, templates, patterns, tokens, and variants.
• Translate hirify.global’s brand identity into accessible, consistent, pixel-perfect interfaces for desktop and mobile products.
• Manage and mentor UI Designers and coach Product Designers on effective Design System usage.
• Partner with Product, Engineering, Design, and Marketing teams; provide specifications and review front-end implementation.
• Monitor component adoption, reuse, accessibility compliance, usability feedback, and UI quality across squads and countries.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Design, Product Design, Human-Computer Interaction, Ergonomics, Graphic Design, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in UI, visual, or product design, including experience scaling design systems.
• Proven leadership of design teams or design system initiatives in global or matrixed environments.
• Fluency in English is required.
• Experience with accessibility standards, including WCAG 2.2 and ADA.
• Ability to collaborate with developers using tools such as Storybook, Zeroheight, and Figma.

Nice to have

• French, Spanish, Portuguese, or other relevant language skills.
• Experience with art direction, motion design, micro-interactions, and visual language systems.
