QA Engineer - Backend (Golang) Senior [Core Banking Systems]

Location: Worldwide; remote work or work from one of the company offices. Relocation support is available to hubs in Cyprus, Kazakhstan, Serbia, or Georgia, including assistance for the employee and family.

What you will do

• Analyze requirements, create test scenarios, prepare test data, and maintain test documentation.
• Perform acceptance, regression, manual, and automated testing of backend systems.
• Write and maintain automated tests in Go and support the test project.
• Integrate automated tests into CI/CD and maintain testing infrastructure and tools.
• Identify, localize, and report defects using a bug tracking system.
• Collaborate with the product team during development and releases, including building mock services, data generators, and reporting tools.

Requirements

• Experience developing and maintaining test documentation, automated tests, test frameworks, and testing infrastructure.
• Programming experience with Go, Java, Kotlin, or Python.
• Experience with Git or other version control systems, SQL, CI/CD tools, and message queues such as Kafka.
• Knowledge of software design patterns and experience testing microservices-based systems.
• English at B1 level or higher for communication with an international team.

Nice to have

• Experience with gRPC and Protobuf.
• Experience with Allure, Gomega, JUnit5, pytest, or allure-pytest.
• Experience with load testing.
