TL;DR
Software Engineer (.NET/React Fullstack) (.NET/React/AWS SaaS): Building and modernising scalable SaaS products, APIs and web applications for planning and building solutions with an accent on full-stack development, legacy-code refactoring and software quality. Focus on designing reliable product features, solving complex technical and customer issues, and developing maintainable systems with CI/CD and automated testing.
Location: Hybrid in Palmerston North or Wellington, New Zealand

What you will do
- Design, develop and test new product features for the Planning & Building Solutions platform.
- Build and maintain scalable systems, RESTful APIs and web applications.
- Modernise legacy components and improve performance and maintainability.
- Troubleshoot product and customer issues and write clean, reliable, well-tested code.
- Participate in code reviews and improve engineering, testing and delivery practices.
- Collaborate with developers, testers, product owners and technical writers.
Requirements
- At least three years of full-stack software development experience.
- Strong experience with .NET and C#.
- Experience with React, Angular or another modern JavaScript framework.
- Experience with SQL Server, relational databases and RESTful APIs.
- Exposure to AWS or another cloud platform.
- Experience with Git, CI/CD, automated testing and scalable software design, plus strong communication skills.
Nice to have
- Experience with SaaS products, NoSQL databases, Docker or Kubernetes.
