What you will do

• Build, hire, and lead a pre-sales team of Solutions Architects for assigned Korean-market accounts.
• Scale the Field Engineering organization while maintaining quality.
• Coach sales and pre-sales team members to collaborate effectively through complex sales cycles.
• Promote solution- and value-based selling and improve the effectiveness of Solutions Architect involvement in sales.
• Develop relationships with customer stakeholders and understand account business needs and revenue potential.
• Build Databricks' brand in partnership with Marketing and Sales.

Requirements

• Experience as a Pre-Sales Manager developing, managing, and building teams of Big Data, Cloud, or SaaS professionals.
• Experience scaling and mentoring field and technical teams from scratch, including onshore and offshore teams.
• Knowledge of data-driven decision-making, AI, and cloud software models.
• Experience establishing processes that improve the efficiency of technical field teams.
• Background in data architecture, including data lakes, data engineering, data warehouses, or data science.
• Native-level Korean required; business-level English strongly preferred.
