Vice President, Data Center Operations (AI Infrastructure)

Location: Remote-based on the continental US; US Citizenship required. The listed office is in Bellevue, Washington.

Salary: $239,920–$299,900 USD annually, plus equity and subsidized benefits.

What you will do

• Define the long-term strategy, operating model, and roadmaps for the global data center operations portfolio.
• Provide executive oversight of 24x7 mission-critical operations across colocation facilities worldwide.
• Own availability, reliability, incident response, root cause analysis, business continuity, and disaster recovery initiatives.
• Lead capacity planning and infrastructure lifecycle management in partnership with sales, engineering, construction, networking, and cloud infrastructure teams.
• Manage operational budgets, capital investment plans, vendors, service providers, and strategic partnerships.
• Build and develop a geographically distributed organization of operational leaders and technical professionals.

Requirements

• US Citizenship due to potential access to sensitive information and export-controlled technologies.
• 15+ years of progressive leadership experience in data center operations, critical facilities, cloud infrastructure, telecommunications, or related industries.
• 10+ years of executive or senior leadership experience managing large-scale operational organizations.
• Experience leading globally distributed teams and mission-critical environments, including large operational budgets and complex capital investment programs.
• Experience with hyperscale, cloud, colocation, or enterprise data centers, including critical power, cooling, network infrastructure, and operational technologies.
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Business, Operations Management, or a related field.

Nice to have

• MBA or advanced engineering degree.
• Experience in AI infrastructure, high-growth infrastructure, cloud infrastructure, defense technology, data centers, compute platforms, or adjacent sectors.
• Knowledge of sustainability, energy management, and environmental compliance programs.
