Application Support Analyst (Commodities)

hirify.global is recruiting an IT Application Support Analyst for the London-based CIT Business Support Team supporting commodities trading operations.

What you will do

• Provide front-to-back production support for an in-house commodities platform covering pricing, risk management, market data, P&L reporting, settlements, scheduling, confirmations, and regulatory reporting.
• Monitor and configure the platform, analyze technical and functional production issues, and resolve incidents.
• Support traders, marketers, risk managers, and middle- and back-office users by answering questions and communicating system issues and changes.
• Log incidents and advise the core development team on bug fixes and enhancements.
• Manage releases and participate in the first-line support rota, including early shifts and overnight/weekend on-call coverage.

Requirements

• Strong problem-solving and communication skills, with the ability to work directly with trading, sales, middle office, back office, confirmations, market risk, and accounting teams.
• Ability to learn diverse commodities products and front-to-back business processes.
• Intermediate relational database and SQL skills.
• Experience with Windows infrastructure and servers.
• Knowledge of PowerShell or other scripting languages and the Windows environment.
• Python or other programming experience.

• Knowledge of commodities, P&L, and pricing.
