Visual Design Lead

Location: Remote within Colombia

What you will do

• Lead visual design direction across complex digital products, platforms, and responsive experiences.
• Guide, mentor, and provide creative direction and feedback to visual designers.
• Build, evolve, and maintain scalable design systems and reusable UI components.
• Translate product and platform goals into cohesive, accessible, usable, and high-quality visual experiences.
• Collaborate with Product, UX, Engineering, Creative, clients, and stakeholders to balance user needs, business goals, and technical considerations.
• Lead projects from concept through execution, communicate design decisions and trade-offs, and establish consistent design practices.

Requirements

• 5–8+ years of experience designing digital products across web, mobile, and responsive platforms.
• Experience leading and mentoring visual design teams and establishing design standards.
• Strong expertise in scalable design systems and reusable UI components.
• Experience with complex product ecosystems and close collaboration with Product, UX, and Engineering teams.
• Strong understanding of interaction design, accessibility, usability, and user-centered design principles.
• Advanced English communication skills, both written and verbal. Engineering or related degrees may require a professional license in Colombia.
