Director Third Party Risk Management (Biotech)

Location: On-site in Sleepy Hollow, New York, United States. Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 a.m.–4:30 p.m.

Salary: $183,100–$305,200 annually.

What you will do

• Execute the global third-party risk management vision, framework, and operating model within the assigned region.
• Oversee the full third-party risk lifecycle, including onboarding, due diligence, monitoring, issue management, and offboarding.
• Provide regional oversight of supplier risks and escalate material or emerging risks.
• Partner with Compliance and risk domain owners on assessments, remediation, and corrective action plans.
• Support global governance bodies with regional insights and reporting.
• Collaborate with Procurement, Legal, Compliance, IP, and Information Security while improving workflows through automation, AI, analytics, and data-driven tools.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field.
• 12+ years of progressive experience in third-party risk management, preferably in pharmaceutical, biotechnology, or other regulated industries.
• Previous people management experience.
• Ability to use AI-enabled capabilities for risk screening, monitoring, analysis, and reporting.
• Experience partnering with Procurement Technology and risk teams to streamline workflows while maintaining governance and compliance.
• Ability to work on-site in Sleepy Hollow, New York, during the stated Monday–Friday schedule.

Nice to have

• Advanced degree or professional certification in risk, compliance, or a related field.
• Experience with third-party risk management technologies, risk monitoring platforms, automation, and AI-enabled tools.
