Senior Software Engineer (AI Integrations)

Location: Spain

Salary: €67,000–€106,000 EUR gross annual base salary; no variable compensation.

What you will do

• Build and evolve the hirify.global MCP server and its supporting infrastructure, primarily in Go.
• Develop the platform for universal agent skills, including portable formats, authoring and publishing tools, and linting.
• Define correctness standards and build evaluations for skills and tools.
• Design and deliver integrations that connect hirify.global with third-party AI ecosystems in collaboration with product teams and external partners.
• Improve the hirify.global CLI and maintain libraries, tools, and integrations across Go, Rust, and other languages.
• Bring product thinking to decisions about what to build and how to improve developer experience.

Requirements

• 8+ years of software engineering experience with backend systems, services, or libraries.
• Significant recent experience with Go and the ability to contribute to unfamiliar codebases and languages.
• Working knowledge of AI/ML frameworks, LLMs, agents, agent skills, and protocols such as MCP.
• Knowledge of client-server networking, HTTP, RESTful APIs, and software engineering best practices.
• Strong product thinking, usability focus, communication skills, and experience collaborating with customers or external partners.
• Willingness to work as part of a remote, globally distributed team, with clear thinking, self-motivation, and independent learning.

Nice to have

• Experience building or operating infrastructure, with an interest in telemetry and observability.
• Open-source projects, technical writing, or conference talks.
• Experience working with third-party or partner engineering teams.
• Previous experience with hirify.global products.
