Automation Test Engineer (Python)

What you will do

• Design, develop, and maintain Python-based testing infrastructure, frameworks, and tools.
• Build scalable and maintainable automated testing solutions, including performance-testing solutions.
• Improve the reliability and performance of the testing infrastructure.
• Review, refactor, and improve the existing Python codebase.
• Analyze automated and performance test results, investigate degradations, reproduce issues, and report defects.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or an engineering discipline.
• 2+ years of hands-on software development experience with Python, including OOP, concurrency, performance optimization, debugging, and modules/packages.
• Experience designing code solutions, developing automated testing frameworks and tools, and working with testing frameworks such as pytest or unittest.
• 2+ years of hands-on testing experience with backend and client/server applications, including test plans and test cases.
• Knowledge of networks and network protocols, plus Python network programming with sockets, websockets, or asyncio.
• Experience with Git and Jira, strong analytical and communication skills, and excellent knowledge of English.

Nice to have

• Experience with C#.
• Experience in performance testing.
• Knowledge of futures, commodities, or stock markets, or trading experience.
