Network Development Engineer, IT Cloud & Infrastructure (Remote)

Location: Remote within the United States

Salary: $85,000–$120,000 per year, with eligibility for bonuses and equity grants.

What you will do

• Participate in architecture and design reviews for infrastructure, platform engineering, and integration initiatives.
• Develop and maintain Terraform modules, networking standards, and multi-account infrastructure templates.
• Implement and operate on-premises and multi-region AWS networking architectures, including Transit Gateway, VPC, inspection, and hybrid connectivity patterns.
• Support cloud migration and data center exit programs, including cutover planning and infrastructure delivery workstreams.
• Create enablement resources and documentation for cloud-native, infrastructure-as-code, Kubernetes, CI/CD, and SDLC practices.
• Communicate technical decisions, trade-offs, risks, and escalation points to engineering and cross-functional stakeholders.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in cloud platform, infrastructure, or network engineering.
• Hands-on experience with AWS, including Transit Gateway, VPCs, multi-account patterns, IAM, and Network Firewall.
• Experience with Terraform, Kubernetes, and CI/CD platforms such as GitLab CI/CD.
• Strong background in multi-region connectivity, network segmentation, inspection architectures, and hybrid or on-premises integration.
• Experience with cloud migration or data center consolidation, infrastructure-as-code delivery, compliance-aware design, network monitoring, and observability.
• Experience using AI technologies to improve troubleshooting, workflows, decision-making, operational efficiency, and business outcomes.

Nice to have

• Exposure to PCI, SOC 2, or similar compliance frameworks.
• Experience with GitOps and Kubernetes delivery tools such as ArgoCD, Helm, or Octopus Deploy.
• Cisco or AWS certifications, including CCNA or CCNP.
• Familiarity with AI/LLM platform infrastructure, traffic routing, access governance, or API management.
• Experience with MSP or multi-tenant IT environments and Datadog observability.
