What you will do
- Lead Facilities & Engineering operations supporting a commercial final drug product manufacturing facility.
- Manage engineers and technical professionals responsible for plant utilities, HVAC, building automation, electrical distribution, refrigeration, and facility infrastructure.
- Drive reliability, operational excellence, condition-based monitoring, predictive maintenance, and risk-reduction initiatives.
- Ensure engineering systems and documentation support cGMP compliance, inspections, audits, qualification, and validation activities.
- Provide engineering oversight for capital projects, facility upgrades, commissioning, qualification, and operational integration of new assets.
- Lead sustainability, utility forecasting, asset lifecycle planning, business continuity, and resource allocation activities.
Requirements
- Doctorate degree and 2 years of engineering experience; or master's degree and 6 years; bachelor's degree and 8 years; associate's degree and 10 years; or high school diploma/GED and 12 years.
- At least 2 years of direct people management or leadership experience directing teams, projects, programs, or resources.
- Bachelor's degree in mechanical, chemical, or electrical engineering, or a related technical discipline.
- Experience in facilities, utilities, engineering, reliability, or related technical functions, preferably in pharmaceutical, biotechnology, medical device, or other regulated manufacturing.
- Knowledge of plant and clean utilities, HVAC, facility infrastructure, building management systems, GMP manufacturing, regulatory inspections, reliability engineering, asset management, and predictive maintenance.
- Ability to provide occasional off-hours support for critical business and operational needs.
