TL;DR
System Integration Engineer (Semiconductor Equipment): Integrating, testing, calibrating, and troubleshooting semiconductor manufacturing systems and their electrical, mechanical, optical, and process subsystems with an accent on system quality, customer acceptance, and on-time installation. Focus on resolving complex system- and component-level issues, supporting new production assemblies, and providing on-site equipment installation and maintenance.

What you will do
- Integrate complete semiconductor manufacturing systems to meet specifications, delivery timelines, and quality requirements through installation.
- Test, calibrate, verify, and troubleshoot modules, subsystems, and fully integrated systems.
- Perform customer acceptance testing and travel to customer sites for installation, production support, repairs, maintenance, and upgrades.
- Evaluate system quality, performance, configuration issues, and malfunctions, resolving problems independently or collaboratively.
- Work with cross-functional engineering and manufacturing groups to develop, build, and test prototype, alpha, beta, and new production systems.
- Prepare logbooks, test procedures, quality notifications, and other technical documentation while contributing to process, safety, and procedural improvements.
Requirements
- Proficiency in analytical processes and procedures relevant to system integration and testing.
- Ability to troubleshoot electrical, mechanical, optical, beam, and process systems using schematics, diagrams, layouts, and technical documentation.
- Ability to communicate and exchange technical information with cross-functional groups and customers.
- Ability to work in cleanroom environments and use required personal protective equipment.
- Ability to perform physically demanding work, including prolonged standing and walking, work in tight spaces, climbing, kneeling, and lifting up to 35 lbs.
- Willingness to travel approximately 10% of the time.
