What you will do
- Analyze and respond to cheats, exploits, account takeovers, fraud, and intellectual property abuse.
- Fine-tune anti-cheat measures and in-game abuse prevention systems.
- Assess game features and enforcement policies for security risks.
- Investigate incidents, analyze telemetry, and recommend threat mitigations.
- Collaborate with engineering and product teams to improve security controls and detection.
- Monitor cheat trends and automate detection and enforcement workflows.
Requirements
- 3+ years of professional experience in security analysis, game security, or threat detection.
- Experience analyzing cheats, game exploits, abuse vectors, and intellectual property infringement cases.
- Familiarity with anti-cheat systems, abuse prevention, account takeover mitigation, credential stuffing, and account security threats.
- Proficiency in log analysis, threat hunting, security automation, security assessment tools, and monitoring systems.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, collaboration, and communication skills across technical and non-technical teams.
- Ability to track emerging cheat methods, security vulnerabilities, and gaming industry threats.
Nice to have
- Experience with online games, live services, or large-scale AAA multiplayer environments.
- Knowledge of bot mitigation.
- Scripting skills in SQL or Python for automation and analysis.
- Experience maintaining investigation, analysis, and evidentiary documentation.
- Knowledge of machine learning approaches for cheat and bot detection.
