TL;DR
Program Control Analyst, Early Career (Program Controls/Finance): Supporting planning, tracking, analysis, and reporting for programs with an accent on cost baselines, schedule management, and Earned Value Management. Focus on analyzing schedule impacts, developing estimates to complete, assessing cost risks, and creating recovery plans using critical path methodologies.

Location: Site-based in Carlsbad, California, United States; employees work at least 3 days per week from a hirify.global office or work location. Up to 10% travel is required. Relocation assistance may be available based on eligibility.

Salary: $56,000–$88,000 annually. For specific locations in San Jose, the San Francisco Bay Area, and the New York City metropolitan area, the range is $69,000–$104,000 annually.

What you will do

  • Support program planning, tracking, cost and schedule reporting, analysis, and status updates.
  • Create and maintain program schedules in MS Project and monitor required deliverables.
  • Establish and maintain cost baselines and estimates at completion.
  • Perform Earned Value Management tasks, including WBS development, budget baselines, cost-risk analysis, visibility reports, and estimates to complete.
  • Analyze schedule impacts, perform what-if scenarios, and help develop recovery plans using critical path methodologies and other metrics.
  • Collaborate with program managers, finance, functional groups, engineering staff, customers, and leadership during audits and reviews.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in Business, Finance, or a technical field.
  • 0–3 years of full-time relevant industry experience.
  • U.S. citizenship and the ability to obtain a United States Secret Clearance.
  • Experience with the MS Office Suite and financial analysis or reporting.
  • Strong teamwork and organizational skills.

Nice to have

  • Experience with Project and Oracle.
  • Government contract experience.
