What you will do
- Architect a modular, scalable robotics tooling portfolio spanning simulation, hardware-in-the-loop systems, and cloud infrastructure.
- Define and execute a technical roadmap balancing innovation with stable, high-performance tooling.
- Build data acquisition and lifecycle pipelines for physical robotic platforms and simulation environments, including cleaning, labeling, timestamp synchronization, and multimodal alignment.
- Develop sensor-fusion tooling for LiDAR, cameras, IMUs, and other modalities using standardized data formats and communication protocols.
- Optimize ultra-low-latency teleoperation systems and build dashboards for real-time robot-state, telemetry, and environmental monitoring.
- Collaborate with AI researchers, hardware engineers, and external partners to identify and close tooling gaps.
Requirements
- Master’s or PhD in Computer Science, Robotics, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
- 5+ years of software engineering experience in robotics, AI, or autonomous driving.
- Proficiency in Python and C++, with deep experience in ROS/ROS2 and modern ML frameworks such as PyTorch or TensorFlow.
- Understanding of ETL data pipelines, sensor fusion, and distributed systems.
- Familiarity with NVIDIA Isaac Sim, Gazebo, or Mujoco.
- Demonstrated experience shipping complex software products from prototype to production.
Nice to have
- Experience with teleoperation hardware such as HaptX or VR controllers, or with human-demonstration data collection.
- Open-source contributions to robotics or AI projects such as LeRobot or Hugging Face Robotics.
- Experience with humanoid robotics or complex multi-degree-of-freedom systems.
