Chargeback Operations Intern (Colombia)

Location: Remote in Colombia; full-time Monday through Friday, 9:00 am–5:30 pm Central Time.

Salary: 2,800,000 COP monthly; paid internship.

What you will do

• Investigate disputed credit card, debit card, and ACH transactions and resolve cases within established timeframes.
• Work with fraud, risk, and customer disputes teams to determine appropriate actions for individual cases.
• Analyze account and transaction patterns to identify fraud trends and inform decisions.
• Maintain service-level agreements for queued cases and minimize potential losses.
• Collaborate with analysts, operations specialists, data scientists, and engineers to improve loss prevention processes and tools.
• Handle internal and external escalations professionally and efficiently.

Requirements

• Experience analyzing data and making decisions in fast-paced, sometimes ambiguous environments.
• Strong attention to detail, multitasking, problem-solving, analytical, business judgment, and communication skills.
• Ability to self-start and work with minimal supervision after training.
• Demonstrated experience with Claude or an equivalent large language model tool, with confidence using AI for productivity, research, and communication.
• Ability to work remotely from Colombia during Central Time hours.
