Audio Designer II (Gaming)

Location: Hybrid in Reno, Nevada, United States

Salary: $120,000–$140,000 annually

What you will do

• Develop detailed audio specifications based on project requirements and creative direction.
• Create original music compositions and sound effects for gaming projects.
• Collaborate with producers, game designers, developers, artists, and external development partners to integrate audio and deliver projects on time.
• Provide direction and constructive feedback to internal and external contributors.
• Test audio assets and implementations across platforms and devices to ensure quality and performance.

Requirements

• At least 2 years of related experience and 5 years of overall work experience.
• Bachelor’s degree; an advanced degree is preferred.
• Experience as an Audio Designer or in a similar role in the entertainment, gaming, or multimedia industry.
• Portfolio demonstrating original music compositions, sound design, and audio implementation.
• Proficiency with industry-standard audio software, preferably Logic Pro and Adobe Audition.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills, including the ability to give and receive constructive feedback.
