Senior Core Software Engineer (C++)

Location: Hybrid work connected to hirify.global's Stockholm studio; hirify.global offices are in Stockholm and Gothenburg, Sweden

hirify.global is a creative game development studio within Electronic Arts, developing the Battlefield franchise and collaborating with Battlefield Studios teams and Frostbite.

What you will do

• Write high-quality, maintainable C++ code for core software supporting Battlefield titles.
• Optimize CPU performance and memory usage across console and PC platforms.
• Debug difficult technical issues and improve software quality.
• Help the studio and live titles adopt new technology and improve development workflows.
• Collaborate with the Frostbite development team and technical leadership.
• Contribute ideas and implementations that influence how hirify.global creates games.

Requirements

• Professional experience with C++.
• Experience optimizing CPU performance and memory usage.
• Experience with low-level programming.
• Experience debugging difficult bugs.
• Strong motivation to achieve high-quality results and good communication skills.

Nice to have

• Experience with game engines, art content pipelines, and related workflows.
