Options Trading Systems Engineer (Fintech)

What you will do

• Provide production and on-the-floor technical support for proprietary equity options trading systems.
• Improve software deployment, configuration processes, monitoring, incident prevention, and recovery.
• Develop and use process automation and monitoring tools.
• Troubleshoot time-critical incidents involving trading systems, markets, data feeds, and telecommunications infrastructure.
• Coordinate with European and US options trading teams to maintain consistent 24x7 support.
• Work with operations, infrastructure teams, exchanges, brokers, traders, researchers, and developers to improve system performance and reliability.

Requirements

• 1–3 years of experience in trade support, site reliability engineering, or a related field.
• Bachelor’s degree in a STEM field, ideally computer engineering.
• Basic knowledge of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, and network troubleshooting tools.
• Knowledge of Linux/Unix environments, SQL or NoSQL databases, and Postgres.
• Experience with Python, Bash, or PowerShell scripting for automation.
• Experience with distributed systems, DevOps, CI/CD, RESTful web services, and web technologies such as JavaScript, React, Vue, and CSS3.
