Video Editor (AI)

Location: Amsterdam, North Holland, Netherlands; full-time, in-office role at the Amsterdam HQ. Includes an allowance of 30 work-from-anywhere days per year.

What you will do

• Edit videos for YouTube, TikTok, Instagram, product launches, educational content, campaigns and partnerships.
• Turn raw footage, screen recordings, voiceovers and product demonstrations into polished finished videos.
• Adapt long-form and short-form content for different platforms, audiences, formats and aspect ratios.
• Create strong openings and use pacing, cuts, sound, music, captions and graphics to maintain viewer attention.
• Produce multiple pieces of content each week, repurpose long-form assets and test different hooks, lengths and editing approaches using retention data.
• Build scalable templates, presets and repeatable workflows while exploring AI-powered editing, generation and production tools.

Requirements

• At least 2 years of experience in video editing, content production or a similar role, with a strong portfolio.
• Proficiency with Premiere Pro, DaVinci Resolve, Final Cut Pro or equivalent professional editing software.
• Strong understanding of pacing, storytelling, audience attention, sound design, music, captions and basic visual effects.
• Experience with both short-form and long-form content, including screen recordings, product demonstrations, talking-head footage and voiceovers.
• Ability to make independent editorial decisions, manage multiple videos and deliver at high production velocity.
• Good written and spoken English, plus familiarity with AI-powered video and editing tools.

Nice to have

• Experience editing high-performing YouTube or short-form social content or working with creators and creator-led brands.
• Advanced experience with AI video generation and AI-assisted editing.
• Motion design, particularly After Effects, colour grading or advanced sound design.
• Experience using audience-retention analytics, optimizing thumbnails and titles, or building repurposing workflows.
