What you will do
- Maintain the self-managed inference environment for deploying open-source AI models.
- Update and test models, Docker images, supporting services, model routing, and endpoint settings.
- Support integrations through REST APIs, MCP servers, and related interfaces.
- Evaluate open-source models, inference tooling, and agentic workflows based on quality, usability, reliability, and resource requirements.
- Document the AI stack and curate client tools such as coding harnesses, developer tools, n8n, and Microsoft Copilot agents.
- Identify repetitive workflows and prototype practical automation solutions with relevant teams.
Requirements
- Current enrollment in computer science, data science, software engineering, information systems, or a related technical field.
- Hands-on experience with Linux, Docker, and basic service operations.
- Ability to work with REST APIs and integrate services such as MCP servers.
- Basic programming or scripting skills in Python, Bash, or a comparable language.
- Strong interest in AI models, developer tools, and agentic best practices, with a structured and reliable working style.
- Fluent English required.
Nice to have
- Experience with local or hosted language models, inference servers, or model gateways.
- Familiarity with GPU-backed workloads, Docker Compose, CI/CD, observability, or secrets management.
- Experience with coding agents, n8n, Microsoft Copilot Studio, AI infrastructure, developer tooling, or workflow automation projects.
