Credit & Collections Specialist (AI)

Location: Business Centre "Labirint", 5th Floor, Liulin 10 District, Sofia, Bulgaria

Base salary range: €12,000–€240,000 per year, excluding bonuses, benefits, and other remuneration.

What you will do

• Communicate with customers by telephone and email to monitor outstanding payments.
• Make payment-status inquiries, reconcile customer accounts, and track non-payments, delayed payments, and irregularities.
• Investigate and resolve customer account discrepancies.
• Review orders and order-related information for invoicing.
• Run credit reports, prepare invoices for mailing, and organize, scan, fax, match, and file documents.
• Use AI-enabled tools, including chatbots, documentation automation, and analytics assistants, to improve routine finance workflows while following AI governance and data privacy standards.

Requirements

• Knowledge of accounts receivable and general accounting procedures.
• 2–3 years of experience in accounts receivable or credit and collections, plus a bachelor's degree and related experience.
• Strong organization, prioritization, attention to detail, and accuracy.
• Excellent IT user, customer service, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work effectively both independently and in a team environment.
• Skills in prompting AI systems, assessing output quality, and leveraging AI for departmental needs.
