Platform Engineer Intern

What you will do

• Improve the lifecycle of platform services from design and deployment through operation and refinement.
• Design, write, and deliver software that improves service availability, scalability, latency, and efficiency.
• Manage service capacity, performance, and disaster recovery.
• Solve problems affecting mission-critical services and build automation to prevent recurring incidents.
• Identify solutions to complex infrastructure problems and communicate recommendations clearly.
• Collaborate with systems and infrastructure engineers, software developers, quantitative traders, researchers, and business analysts.

Requirements

• Pursuing a bachelor's, master's, or PhD in computer science, electrical engineering, computer engineering, physics, mathematics, or a related scientific discipline.
• Expected graduation between December 2027 and June 2028.
• Exposure to networking, Linux/Unix administration, systems performance, capacity planning, Kubernetes, Docker, or CI/CD tools.
• Understanding of large-scale distributed systems fundamentals.
• Strong scripting skills in Python, Bash, or similar languages.
