Videographer/Editor

Location: Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia; hybrid work with at least 3 days per week in the Malaysia office

What you will do

• Lead video planning, storyboarding, creative concept development, and production across YouTube, TikTok, Instagram, Facebook, and Xiaohongshu.
• Set visual direction and create branded content ranging from corporate storytelling to fast-turnaround social videos.
• Edit footage and perform color correction, sound design, motion graphics, subtitling, file optimization, and exports.
• Collaborate with Creative, Marketing, Social Media, design, copywriting, and strategy teams on cohesive campaigns.
• Manage concurrent projects, production workflows, equipment setup, archives, backups, and reusable assets.
• Test new storytelling formats, editing styles, and visual effects techniques to improve engagement and retention.

Requirements

• Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Film, Multimedia, Communications, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in video editing or related creative production, supported by a strong portfolio or showreel.
• Strong camera operation, lighting, and audio recording skills.
• Proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, and Photoshop or equivalent tools.
• Knowledge of storytelling, visual pacing, composition, transitions, aspect ratios, compression, and digital file formats.
• Strong English communication is required; the role requires working from the Malaysia office at least 3 days per week.
