Senior Manager, Solution Architect, Tech Partnership (AI & Payments)

Location: Shanghai, China; hybrid schedule with at least 3 days in the office.

What you will do

• Partner with business development and sales teams on strategic engagements with Chinese digital ecosystem partners, FinTechs, AI companies, and platform providers.
• Lead technical discovery, end-to-end solution design, architecture reviews, due diligence, and delivery for partnership projects.
• Design and prototype agentic commerce experiences in which AI agents discover, recommend, purchase, and manage transactions for users.
• Build proof-of-concepts and reference implementations combining hirify.global payment capabilities with AI technologies, foundation models, and digital ecosystems.
• Collaborate with client product, architecture, and engineering leaders as well as hirify.global’s global product, engineering, AI, and Value Added Services teams.
• Present solutions, influence technical decision-makers, provide execution guidance, and mentor architects, engineers, and technical stakeholders.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related technical field.
• 10+ years of experience in solution architecture, technical consulting, platform or cloud architecture, or customer-facing technical leadership.
• Hands-on expertise in AI application development, agentic AI, modern payment architecture, digital commerce workflows, and compliance requirements.
• Demonstrated ability to design and deliver end-to-end architectures, prototypes, and proof-of-concepts.
• Experience partnering with Sales and Business Development and collaborating across product, engineering, and business organizations.
• Fluent written and spoken English and Mandarin are required.

• Experience with large-scale internet platforms, AI technology companies, digital ecosystem players, or leading FinTech organizations.
• Knowledge of China’s digital ecosystem, including major internet platforms, super apps, AI-native applications, and emerging commerce innovations.
• Experience turning emerging technologies into production-ready business solutions.
