Corporate Intelligence Experienced Case Manager – Sub-Saharan Africa, Cape Town (Corporate Intelligence): Managing and delivering complex due diligence investigations, high-stakes investigations, and market entry analyses across sub-Saharan Africa with an accent on investigative research, project management, and client relationships. Focus on conducting human source enquiries, presenting findings to senior stakeholders, mentoring analysts, and maintaining high-quality investigative standards.
Location: Cape Town, South Africa; hybrid working with two days per week in the office. Candidates must have permission to work in South Africa by the start of employment.

What you will do
- Manage complex corporate intelligence and due diligence engagements from scoping through final delivery.
- Analyse information from diverse sources and produce accurate, well-supported findings.
- Conduct human source enquiries across sub-Saharan Africa and expand the regional research network.
- Build client relationships, scope requests, contribute to proposals, and present findings to senior stakeholders.
- Identify opportunities for additional project work and support the growth of existing client relationships.
- Mentor analysts, manage project quality and deliverables, and improve investigative best practices.
Requirements
- At least five years of experience in corporate intelligence, strategic intelligence, law, finance, investigative journalism, or a related field.
- Experience leading complex due diligence, high-stakes investigation, and market entry assignments focused on sub-Saharan Africa.
- Strong understanding of the political, economic, commercial, and legal dynamics of sub-Saharan Africa.
- Excellent open source research and regional human source enquiry skills.
- Experience planning, staffing, and managing projects within budget and timelines, including accountability for team work, quality assurance, and client deliverables.
- Permission to work in South Africa is required by the start of employment.
