Trainee - Electronic Design Automation in Microelectronics

What you will do

• Learn modern electronic design automation tools and technologies.
• Support the development and verification of design kits for CMOS, RFCMOS, and BiCMOS processes.
• Build practical knowledge for future CAD engineering work in micro- and nano-electronics.
• Work with technologies spanning semiconductor nodes from 350 nm down to 12 nm, including FD-SOI, RF, high-voltage, and automotive applications.

Requirements

• Be an active student in electrical engineering, physics, computer engineering, telecommunications, automation, or an equivalent field.
• Have good knowledge of electronic devices and semiconductor theory.
• Have some programming background in C, C++, Perl, Python, or TCL.
• Be available to work onsite in Sofia.

Nice to have

• Experience with CAD systems such as Cadence IC, Cadence OrCAD, or Protel.
• Experience with circuit simulators such as PSpice or mathematical software such as Matlab or Mathematica.
