TL;DR
Data Scientist (Machine Learning): Building predictive and prescriptive analytics solutions, scalable data products, and productionized machine learning models for semiconductor manufacturing with an accent on forecasting, recommendation systems, optimization, and deep learning. Focus on developing data pipelines, tuning and deploying models, monitoring performance, and translating complex analytics into operational value for Fab Operations.

What you will do
- Translate business needs into predictive and prescriptive analytics solutions with Lead Data Scientists and business customers.
- Build production-ready data pipelines and scalable analytics solutions with GFIT and the Manufacturing Data Domain group.
- Perform exploratory data analysis and create visualizations using complex, high-dimensional datasets.
- Select, train, and tune machine learning and statistical models, including forecasting, recommendation, optimization, and deep learning approaches.
- Deploy, validate, and monitor models in production with Product Engineers to maintain consistent performance.
- Communicate analytics value to Fab leadership and business partners while supporting capability building and adoption.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in a quantitative field such as Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Engineering, Physics, Chemistry, Economics, or Data Science.
- At least 4 years of experience in analytics with a proven record of innovation.
- Experience with forecasting, recommendation systems, logistics optimization, churn analysis, segmentation analysis, and deep learning.
- Experience creating business models with R, Python, SAS, SPSS, or STATA.
- Experience with optimization, cloud environments, productionization, and business-focused advanced analysis.
- Strong communication, leadership, Agile collaboration, and ability to work with ambiguous problems and unstructured data.
