Staff System Engineer (AI)

Location: Hybrid in Bengaluru, India

What you will do

• Build and maintain a modern, responsive, high-performance agentic operations platform.
• Design, develop, fine-tune, and optimize domain-specific small language models for enterprise applications.
• Build inference pipelines, evaluate model performance, and optimize models for low-latency inference and edge deployments.
• Monitor, benchmark, and improve model efficiency, accuracy, scalability, and reliability.
• Build scalable RESTful APIs and backend services, including secure third-party integrations.
• Design databases and implement authentication, authorization, fault tolerance, and high availability.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree with 7+ years of total experience.
• Strong Python, React, Node, and Next skills, including component lifecycle, hooks, and state management.
• Proficiency in HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, modern frameworks, Git, REST APIs, Webpack, and CI/CD pipelines.
• Strong understanding of API design, data modeling, and error handling.
• Experience with Prometheus, Grafana, Ansible, Terraform, and shell scripting.
• Proficiency with PostgreSQL, MySQL, or MongoDB.

Nice to have

• Knowledge of CI/CD, configuration management, and AWS or other cloud platforms.
• Familiarity with RabbitMQ or Kafka.
• Experience with Docker and API tools.
