What you will do
- Design, develop, validate, and test firmware assignments as part of larger product projects.
- Integrate software and hardware to maintain throughput and program consistency.
- Develop and maintain documentation describing firmware functionality.
- Participate in code reviews and run software tests designed by experienced engineers.
- Review test results, perform root cause analysis, and implement solutions to complex issues.
- Upgrade existing firmware and enhance technologies for new solutions while improving team productivity.
Requirements
- Experience developing and maintaining software or firmware for products and systems.
- Ability to perform software and hardware integration.
- Experience with firmware testing, test-result analysis, and root cause analysis.
- Ability to follow established quality processes and standards.
- Ability to build productive internal and external working relationships.
