Director- Business Finance (Financial Planning and Business Strategy): Leading business finance for a business unit by partnering with business and technology teams on capital allocation, growth, profitability, and financial governance with an accent on annual and long-range planning, controllership, and performance measurement. Focus on scenario analysis, variance investigation, leadership decision support, budgeting, and process standardization and automation.

Location: On-site in Bangalore, Karnataka, India

What you will do

  • Lead the Business Finance team and act as a finance co-pilot for the business unit.
  • Partner with business and technology teams to develop annual and long-range financial plans.
  • Review plans against actuals, analyze variances, and provide visibility for actionable planning.
  • Track financial and business metrics, jointly own business-unit OKRs, and build the annual operating plan.
  • Perform scenario analysis for product enhancements and business initiatives, presenting recommendations to senior management.
  • Drive financial governance, month-end closing reviews, process standardization, and automation projects.

Requirements

  • 8–10 years of professional experience, including at least 5 years in Business Finance.
  • Chartered Accountant qualification or a postgraduate degree in Finance.
  • Strong analytical rigor, first-principles thinking, and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong communication, collaboration, stakeholder management, and interpersonal skills.
  • Proactive, self-motivated, and able to work effectively as a team player.
