TL;DR
Senior Security Analyst (SIEM/XDR): Investigating and responding to security incidents in an Intelligent Security Operations Center with an accent on threat analysis, incident containment, and enterprise security monitoring. Focus on analyzing alerts and ongoing incidents, escalating complex cases, applying the Cyber Kill Chain methodology, and supporting critical 24x7 environments.
Location: Sofia, Bulgaria; work model prioritizes in-person collaboration with flexibility

What you will do
- Act as a technical escalation point during security incidents and assess threats, business impact, containment, and remediation options.
- Analyze security events, alerts, and ongoing incidents according to SLAs and defined timelines.
- Investigate unresolved tickets and escalate cases to security support teams when required.
- Provide out-of-hours on-call support and guidance to junior security analysts.
- Apply the Cyber Kill Chain methodology and identify improved threat-detection techniques.
- Communicate incident status and recommendations clearly with customers, partners, users, and internal stakeholders.
Requirements
- At least 2–3 years of hands-on technical experience with SIEM, network management, security platforms, and related technologies.
- Experience with intrusion detection, proxy support, security client support, security-device administration, compliance monitoring, and reporting.
- Experience with Wireshark, SIEM and XDR tools such as Microsoft Sentinel, ArcSight, Splunk, Sumo Logic, Microsoft Defender, CrowdStrike, or Carbon Black, plus Linux.
- Understanding of 24x7 mission-critical enterprise computing environments and the business impact of service disruption.
- Degree or diploma in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Management Information Systems, or equivalent certifications.
- Fluent written and verbal English is required.
