What you will do
- Lead proactive media pitching and maintain relationships with reporters, editors, and freelance writers across business, technology, consumer, and regional media.
- Localize global messaging into culturally relevant Japanese narratives and create Japanese press kits, fact sheets, backgrounders, and visual assets.
- Plan and execute press conferences, editorial visits, and on-site meetings with media and stakeholders.
- Oversee daily media clipping, sentiment analysis, and rapid-response communications, including official statements and Q&A documents.
- Develop stories around the Rocket Now ecosystem with cross-functional partners.
- Direct PR agencies and monitor KPIs for media coverage and key-message penetration.
Requirements
- 10+ years of hands-on PR experience in the Japanese market.
- Experience in online food delivery, last-mile logistics, or e-commerce.
- Proven success organizing and executing large-scale press conferences in Japan.
- Strong business English for reporting to global headquarters and interpreting global brand guidelines.
- Ability to write press releases, company overviews, and other communications assets.
