What you will do
- Design, develop, and integrate custom computer vision algorithms into high-performance C++ software pipelines.
- Build real-time perception capabilities for autonomous systems and edge computing environments.
- Develop geometry-based vision pipelines for camera modelling, calibration, image-to-world projection, geolocation, and visual registration.
- Translate research concepts into reliable, deployable software and own work from ambiguous requirements through delivery.
- Collaborate with AI, robotics, and optical engineering specialists on multidisciplinary solutions.
Requirements
- Degree in Computer Vision, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field.
- Deep proficiency in C++ and experience developing high-performance, real-time software.
- Experience designing and implementing custom computer vision algorithms from scratch.
- Strong understanding of computer vision, image processing, and machine learning principles.
- Strong software engineering fundamentals, including data structures, algorithms, performance optimization, and version control.
- Ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and deliver reliable edge solutions.
Nice to have
- Masterβs or PhD in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- Experience with object detection, target tracking, 3D reconstruction, SLAM, camera calibration, or behaviour analysis.
- Knowledge of photogrammetry, epipolar geometry, bundle adjustment, terrain or map-based registration, and sensor alignment.
- Familiarity with OpenCV and deep learning integration for real-time vision systems.
- Experience in defence, autonomous unmanned systems, automated video surveillance, or other mission-critical domains.
