Cisco Presales Engineer

What you will do

• Work with sales teams and customers to capture requirements and develop effective integrated Cisco solutions.
• Prepare proposals, presentations, and responses to information and proposal requests.
• Provide presales support to reseller channels, with a primary focus on security.
• Train reseller presales and sales teams on Cisco products and services.
• Coordinate customer workshops, trade shows, events, and other demand-generation activities.
• Track product pricing, market needs, sales performance, profitability, stock, and vendor KPIs.

Requirements

• Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• 2–3 years of relevant experience.
• Customer-facing communication and presentation skills.
• Ability to understand customer requirements and develop solution-oriented proposals.
• Willingness to maintain the certifications required to meet vendor requirements.

Nice to have

• Cisco networking certifications such as CCNA or CCDA.
