Senior Software Engineer, AV Platform Integration and Test (Automotive)

What you will do

• Design and develop scalable, high-coverage software testing for ADAS/AV platform software.
• Build and maintain hardware-in-the-loop, software-in-the-loop, and vehicle-in-the-loop testing environments.
• Create test automation frameworks, develop test scripts, and execute automated tests.
• Analyze full-vehicle diagnostics, logs, and test results to support issue triage, debugging, and root-cause analysis.
• Collaborate with software infrastructure, application, software development, and hardware teams on test cases and platform issues.
• Support compliance with ISO 26262, SOTIF, FMVSS 111, and FMVSS 127 safety requirements.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in electronics, computer science, electrical engineering, or a related technical field.
• At least 6 years of professional technical experience, including at least 3 years in software verification and validation.
• Strong programming and testing experience with Python, CAPL, Vehicle Spy, and Robot Framework.
• Understanding of vehicle networks, including CAN and Ethernet, and experience with network analysis and debugging tools such as Wireshark, CANoe/CANalyzer, INCA, and RAD Galaxy RAD Gigastar.
• Ability to convert requirements into test scenarios, vehicle simulation tests, and testable scripts.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to operate test vehicles.

Nice to have

• Hands-on experience with QNX or Linux-based software systems and embedded programming.
• Knowledge of ROS, Linux-based embedded systems, and RTOS environments.
• Experience with Unified Diagnostic Services, ISO 14229, TCP, UDP, DDS, CAN, Ethernet, and SOME/IP.
• Strong cross-functional collaboration and critical problem-solving skills.
